Vegan sources of Vitamin D and Omega-3

The plant-based diet has risen in popularity over the past few years. From health reasons and the environment, to ethics and lifestyle experimentation, there are different motivators for switching to the vegan diet. An important part of this shift is learning about Omega-3 vegan sources, as well as vegan sources of vitamin D.

For example, how do vegans get Vitamin D? And where do vegans get Omega-3?

There’s a long list of health benefits of a vegan diet, but it’s important to be aware that we don’t always get all our nutrients from food alone, due to factors like modern processing and soil depletion.

DHR ir EPR padeda palaikyti normalią širdies veiklą. Teiginys gali būti naudojamas tik tiems maisto produktams, kurie atitinka EPR ir DHR šaltinius, kaip nurodyta teiginyje Omega-3  RIEBALŲ RŪGŠČIŲ ŠALTINIS, ir kurie išvardyti Reglamento (EB) Nr. 1924/2006 priede. Norint taikyti šį teiginį, vartotojui turi būti pateikta informacija, kad teigiamas poveikis juntamas per parą suvartojant 250 mg EPR ir DHR.

4. DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal brain

DHR padeda palaikyti normalią smegenų veiklą. Šis teiginys gali būti naudojamas tik kalbant apie maistą, kuriame yra bent 40 mg DHR / 100 g ir 100 kcal. Norint taikyti šį teiginį, vartotojui turi būti pateikta informacija, kad teigiamas poveikis juntamas per parą suvartojant 250 mg DHR.
