Zinzino qualifies for the NASDAQ First North 25
Zinzino AB, one of the leading direct sales companies within health, functional food and coffee, has been selected for the NASDAQ First North 25, a new index for the 25 largest and most actively traded companies on the NASDAQ First North and NASDAQ First North Premier.
– We are of course proud to be one of the successful companies that qualify for the index First North 25 and we are grateful to have received increased visibility on such an attractive platform as NASDAQ, says Dag Bergheim Pettersen, CEO of Zinzino AB.
First North 25 is designed to further develop the Nordic region's leading platform for growth.
– One of our most important tasks is to help small and medium enterprises to grow. The objective is that the First North 25 will increase the visibility of our companies and that more institutional investors will notice the investment opportunities available on the NASDAQ First North, says Adam Kostyál, European Head of Listing on NASDAQ.
The selection for the new index portfolio was made via a two step process. Firstly a group of the 30 largest companies on NASDAQ First North were selected and then from this group the 25 with the most actively traded stocks were included in the index. The index portfolio will be evaluated twice a year, on the first trading days of January and July.
– We have made several large investments, including in research, production facilities and in the development of Zinzino Health to ensure continued growth, which has now produced results and increased opportunities for further growth, says Dag Bergheim Pettersen, CEO of Zinzino AB.
Zinzino was recognised earlier in the year in the annual European Business Awards, that highlight and reward outstanding and innovative companies in Europe. Zinzino was then selected as one of the Swedish National Champions for 2015/2016.
